Hampton Boat Tax is Rejected
Hampton marinas can be relieved the proposed property tax on recreational boats was turned down by the city council. Many believe the lack of a boat tax makes Hampton a desirable city to dock year-round, thereby helping the local economy of this historic port city, poised to celebrate its 400th anniversary.
